1... 2... 3... Chocolate Cake





Step 1: in pan combine 1 stick butter, 3 1/2 tablespoons cocoa, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup shortening. Bring to a boil.

Step 2: Sift together 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar in large mixing bowl. Pour step 1 into step 2.

Step 3: Mix together in small bowl 2 eggs, well beaten, 1 teaspoon soda, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add to steps 1 and 2.

Bake in 400* oven for 20 minutes.


Icing

Put 1 stick margarine, 3 1/2 t cocoa, and 1/3 cup milk in a saucepan. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Add 4 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat well. Pour over cake while it is still hot. Enjoy!
