Chicken with Garlic Gravy
Family favorite, ready in under 30 minutes

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (4 oz each)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 5 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp chicken broth, divided
- 1/2 cup white wine (or additional chicken broth)
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Directions
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken and garlic in butter for 5 minutes, or until browned.
- Add 1/2 cup chicken broth, wine (or additional broth), basil, and oregano. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 7–9 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (no longer pink).
- Remove chicken with a slotted spoon and keep warm.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining chicken broth with flour until smooth. Stir into skillet juices.
- Bring to a boil and cook 1–2 minutes, stirring, until thickened.
- Serve gravy over chicken.
